I have often wondered what my Dewey Decimal number would be, and thanks to an internet quiz, now I know. I love these kind of quizzes…they are usually scarily accurate, and this one is no exception! Thanks to the Ellsworth Public Library’s facebook page for suggesting the cool link 🙂 Here are my results:

Ohmigosh! I typed my name in and it came up with:
Charlotte Sophia Mayne’s Dewey Decimal Section:
418 Standard usage & applied linguistics
Charlotte Sophia Mayne = 38182500595689131545 = 381+825+005+956+891+315+45 = 3418

This is the best thing since sliced tomatoes. 🙂 Thank you!
It’s like you were destined to be into languages because of your name! That’s great 🙂
I know. 🙂 It’s made my weekend. Which of the three do you feel sums you up best? Or do you think that each bit’s a facet of your personality? I think 025 is spookily cool. It’s as if the Dewey Decimal system chose you to work with it (and books and people).
I think for me it may be a mix of all three. I’ve always been really interested in philosophy and now I work at the library. I do tend to see the world as “a puzzle worth exploring” but only when it’s something I’m interested in (prehistoric life? not so much).
